At The Clip Theory, we want you to feel confident shopping with us. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help. Please review our return and refund policy below.

Returns

We offer a 14-day return policy, meaning you have 14 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • Be in the same condition as when you received it

  • Be unused

  • Have all original tags attached (if applicable)

  • Be in its original packaging

  • Include proof of purchase

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

How to Start a Return

To request a return, please contact us at hello@thecliptheory.com and include:

  • Your order number

  • The reason for the return

If your return is approved:

  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs

  • The customer must create and pay for the return shipping label

  • You’ll receive clear instructions on how and where to send your item

Returns must be sent to:

You may use any of the following parcel machines:

  • Omniva

  • DPD

  • LP Express

  • SmartPosti

Please note: Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately at hello@thecliptheory.com so we can assess the issue and provide a suitable solution as quickly as possible.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Final sale items

  • Gift cards

If you’re unsure whether your item qualifies for a return, please contact us before placing your order.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. To receive a different item:

  1. Return the original item

  2. Place a new order once your return is approved

This ensures the fastest processing time.

European Union – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped within the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, without providing a reason.

To qualify under this rule:

  • Items must be unused and in original condition

  • Original packaging, tags, and proof of purchase are required

This right is granted in accordance with EU consumer protection laws and applies even if your purchase would otherwise fall outside our standard return policy.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you whether the refund has been approved.

If approved:

  • The refund will be issued to your original payment method

  • Refunds are processed within 10 business days

Please note that banks or credit card providers may require additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.
